Lalesa - Ethiopia

This coffee hails from what is known as the “Yirgacheffe” region in Ethiopia. It comes to us from a washing station owned by Alemayehu Tilahu and nestled into a dense, shade-forested area. Alemayehu is from the region and has been working in coffee for two decades – he was one of the national winners of the Cup of Excellence in 2020! This has been possible by cultivating strong relationships with smallholder farmers in the area. From the cup, the gentle comfort of cocoa nibs and mulberry glide through each sip followed by quite the clean mouth feel.
