La Paloma - Colombia

La Paloma, one of five farms which comprise Café Primitivo, is located just outside the town of Circasia, part of a UNESCO World Heritage site. Café Primitivo is led by Ana María Donney, a fifth-generation coffee producer and co-founder of International Women’s Coffee Alliance (IWCA) Colombia. Ana María initiated Cafe Primitivo, as a way of honoring family legacy and specifically her grandfather, Primitivo Correal Barrios, who “was super passionate about coffee and all the people that are behind each cup.” From the cup, passion fruit plays forward in concert with notes of berries in each delightfully tart sip.
